Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Fabinho but could face competition from the Italian champions Juventus next year.
The Red Devils are set to battle the Old Lady for the services of AS Monaco right-back Fabinho next summer, according to the Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from the French outfit back in the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise.
The report adds that the Premier League giants have been “tracking” Fabinho since the summer transfer window and he was heavily touted as a potential target for the Old Trafford outfit during that period.
The Brazil international has scored twice and provided one assist in 16 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco so far this term.
United are currently 11 points behind the league leaders Manchester City as the busiest festive period is just around the corner.
