Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their interest in singing the Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, according to German outlet Kicker.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena with the Bundesliga champions prepared to allow the midfielder the opportunity to find regular football elsewhere.
Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea both have been linked with the Portugal international but reports in Germany claim the Merseyside giants Liverpool have joined the race for the player’s signature.
It remains to be seen whether the Reds will look to seal a permanent deal, although the Bavarians are likely to be more willing to accept a season-long loan approach for the Prospect.
Sanches has made six league appearances since moving to the Allianz Arena from Benfica in July 2016.
