Liverpool eye their third summer signing

Liverpool are reportedly interested in a summer deal to sign Hull City defender Andy Robertson, according to The Daily Mirror.

The Merseyside giants are keen to make a move for the Scotland international as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his defence options ahead of next season.

The report adds that the Reds recently suspended their interest in Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon before he signed a new contract with the Lilywhites, and the German boss is now eyeing other left-back options.

It is claimed that Liverpool have kept a close eye on the 23-year-old, over the past couple of seasons and the Reds could make a move in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool have so far confirmed two signings this summer – Dominic Solanke from Chelsea and Mohamed Salah from AS Roma.

Klopp is quite desperate to add quality players to his squad as he prepares his team for a return to the Champions League football next season.
