Samir Nasri wanted by AC Milan?

AC Milan have reportedly stepped up their interest in a move for Manchester City attacker Samir Nasri.

The France international, whose deal at the Etihad is valid until the summer of 2019, spent season-long loan spell at Sevilla – scored twice in 23 La Liga games helped the club to a fourth-place finish.

It is understood that number of clubs have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old attacker, but it has recently been claimed that the Sky Blues are struggling to settle Nasri due to his “high wage demands”.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, the Serie A giants have an immense interest in the former Arsenal man, with the Rossoneri showing no signs of simmering down their summer transfer business as they ready to splash the cash in the coming weeks.

AC Milan could face a stiff competition for the player’s signature as Chinese Super League mega-rich club Shanghai Shenhua are believed to be offering wages of £275,000-a-week to Nasri.
