Arsenal plans summer move for Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Mirror.

The France international has been in impressive form, after scoring sensational 29 goals in all competitions this term.

The 25-year-old, who is currently under contract until 2019, is believed to be has a £52.5m asking price.

The Gunners attempted to sign Lacazette last summer but the deal didn’t materialise. However, he has already admitted he is hoping to leave the French outfit this summer.

“I think that the right moment has arrived to leave,” the forward said.

“I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person.

“I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer.”

Lacazette has scored 23 goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
