Chelsea pondering Fernando Llorente move?

Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their interest in a shock move for Fernando Llorente from Swansea City.

The 31-year-old forward joined the Swans from Sevilla back in the summer and has since gone on to score six goals in 15 league appearances for the Welsh outfit in the 2016-17 campaign.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte worked alongside Llorente at Juventus and according to AS, the Italian manager wants to bring the Spanish attacker to Stamford Bridge as back-up to Diego Costa.

Llorente, whose current deal at the Liberty Stadium expires in the summer of 2018, has scored 118 goals for Athletic Bilbao before moving to Serie A giants Juventus in 2013.

The veteran forward has also racked up seven goals in 24 appearances for his country.
