Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny ready to sign new contract

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract, which will keep him at the club until 2020, according to L’Equipe.

It appears, the centre-back is all set to commit his future to the Gunners by signing a new four-year deal, that would take him at the Emirates up to the age of 35.

The Frenchman joined the north Londoners for a fee of £10m back in 2010, and has gone on to become an integral figure of the Gunners’ defence over the years.

The 31-year-old has also build up a strong partnership with summer signing Shkodran Mustafi, and has helped the club to reach an unbeaten run of 10 Premier League outings this season.

The official announcement could be made before the Champions League clash with PSG next Wednesday.
