Manchester United competes Zlatan Ibrahimovic signing

Manchester United have announced the arrival of Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Following weeks of rumours, the 34-year-old attacker announced on Thursday afternoon that he had agreed a deal with the Red Devils after leaving the Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

The veteran forward put pen to paper on a one-year contract at Old Trafford on Friday.

Ibrahimovic, who scored 392 goals in 677 appearances, moves to the 20-time English champions, having won a trophy every season since 2001, including 13 league titles.

He is expected to earn in excess of £200,000 a week at Old Trafford.
