The Premier League giants Manchester United have joined the race to sign N’Golo Kante from Leicester City, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported that the Red Devils are prepared to launch Kante’s £22m release clause.
The France international, who is currently playing at Euro 2016, was instrumental one of the key players in the Foxes’ Premier League triumph last season.
The report suggested, United boss Jose Mourinho wants the 25-year-old to add some energy to his midfield as he continues his plans to re-shape following the £30m signing Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
Kante joined Leicester for just £5.6m from French club Caen last August.
But, the English champions will struggle to hold onto the midfielder, who is also said to be on the prime target of Arsenal, Chelsea and the French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
