Big Bash League: Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib joins Melbourne Renegades

The Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has signed up for the Melbourne Renegades in the second half of the Australian domestic T20 tournament Big Bash League.

The 27-year-old, who is currently the world’s No.1 Twenty20 allrounder, will replace the departing Andre Russel, who will join up with the West Indies ODI squad in South Africa.

The all-rounder will be available for the fixture against the Hobart Hurricanes on January 7, Although, he already represented the Adelaide Strikers earlier last season.

Shakib has scored 752 runs and took 44 wickets in 35 T20 internationals for his country.
