The big-hitting Surrey all-rounder Jason Roy has signed for a three-match stint to play for the Sydney Thunder in Australia’s Twenty20 Big Bash League.
Roy, 24, will replace the new England’s ODI’s captain Eoin Morgan, who will leave the BBL to link up with national squad ahead of the Tri-Series with Australia and India.
The South African-born batsman is excited to play alongside with his childhood idol Jacques Kallis.
